The Womenspace Art Collective was formed in early 2025. A group of eight artists with a firm belief that making art is a catalyst for connection and wellbeing. Coming together initially for the Sandgate Creative Trail in 2024 at Womenspace, they decided to make their collaboration a permanent feature of Womenspace, with the walls of the venue now a gallery for their work. The artists, Eve Baker, Suellen Howarth, Kylie Davidson, Lisa Elms, Marilyn Cass, Leanne Rooney, Donna Hawkins and Pat Armitstead, offer a varied program of creative workshops throughout the year at Womenspace in Sandgate.
