Why Join SasArt?

The Sandgate Art Society Inc. (or SasArt), is a not-for-profit group of emerging and established visual artists creating and making in a wide variety of media and a diverse range of styles.

The group runs two major events yearly – the Sandgate Easter Art Show, and the 4017 Bayside Open Studios for two weekends in October. Other opportunities include untutored studio sessions (weekly) for sharing ideas, and companionship, tutored professional development once a month and a variety of educational segments, Pop-Up Art Sales on Sandgate Foreshore, Plein Air art days, gallery visits, demonstrations and workshops from guest artists.

SasArt liaises with other local community art groups, the Shorncliffe Pottery Club Inc, Artrageous and the Redcliffe Art Society.
