Sandgate Art Society
SasArt is open to anyone who would like to work in a friendly atmosphere with encouragement to continue their art practice on a regular basis. We welcome novices, intermediate, skilled and professional artists. Members work in a wide variety of media and display a diverse range of styles. The popular untutored studio sessions on Monday nights give members the opportunity to exchange ideas and discuss the current direction of their work.
Opportunities exist for SasArt members to be involved in various art events, including our Easter Art Show, 4017 Bayside Open Studios, artist markets and community events. Artistic camaraderie is high on our agenda with involvement in other local exhibitions, community events, gallery visits and various social functions.

"Sandgate Art Society did a great job of presenting their annual Easter exhibition last night. Beautifully presented with each art piece getting their own space and light - such respect shown for the artists and their work. Lovely people too. The standard of artwork was so high and the variety of art styles so extensive it was really something to see. No prizes for me but my painting "Pond" was sold. I am a happy chappy. "
