I am a Brisbane/Meanjin based artist, specializing in steel sculptures. My work is informed by the presense of the Brighton wetlands. I focus on creating enduring, quality pieces, reflecting my belief in the “Final Use” of materials. Teaching metal sculpture from my home studio gives me a unique opportunity to share my expertise with students and engage with the arts community. My other creative practices include sound art, blending field recorded sounds and manipulating them in an immersive live performance. I have large public works at Maritime Green in Hamiton, Brisbane and at Roma’s public sculpture park.
