Studio 13 – Bayside Gallery

My art education began at Banyo S.H.S. in 1958/59 with Miss Watts. She taught us many aspects of art including linocut printmaking. I soon became a teacher myself and sometimes filled in as an art teacher. Printmaking became my main retirement activity and it wasn’t long before I moved away from linocuts to woodcut prints. This is because I had worked in wood all my life, building sailing dinghies, our first house, lots of furniture and for 5 years I was a wood chopper at country shows. In 2009 I opened Bayside Gallery studio where I spend my days printmaking.
