Jim is a painter who specialises in landscapes that he has encountered from extensive travelling in Australia and overseas. He mostly works in acrylics and is also exploring watercolours, gouache, ink and pastel.
Jim studied drawing and painting at Brisbane’s Technical College and visual arts in a full-time Certificate course at TAFE.
By carefully selecting interesting and atmospheric viewpoints and reconfiguring the scene before him, Jim likes to create arresting visions in which the viewer may become emotionally involved.
